LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP SCHOLARSHIP HOG ISLAND, MAINE Summer 2009 Discover proven strategies to power your local Audubon chapter, during this week with national Audubon staff, guest speakers, and fellow participants from Audubon chapters nationwide. You’ll also have time for guided exploration of Hog Island’s old-growth forest and rocky tide pools, plus a narrated boat cruise to see Atlantic puffins and other seabirds. Bartramian Audubon is very excited to offer a scholarship to an individual to attend this experience of a lifetime. All the Bartramian Audubon Society asks is that the recipient serve a 2-year term on the BAS board of directors upon returning from the workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has been considering how they might be able to give more to their Audubon chapter and community. Bartramian Audubon Society is the local chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving Butler, Lawrence, Mercer and Venango Counties. For more information and/or an application, please contact Kathie Goodblood at 814-432-4496. Deadline for applications is April 1, 2009.
